And a delightfully dreadful Christmas to you all. I hope you’re all stuffed on mince pies, cheese and the entrails of your foes!
I’ve had a short story published in ‘Sirens Call‘ an online magazine which is filled with FREE fiction for you. My short story is called ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ and is a little post-apocalyptic tale involving Father Christmas and a sick child. Not to be confused with my retelling of the poem ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas‘ where Father Christmas battles demons to save Christmas. I think perhaps I need to ask Santa for some new story titles next year! It does show though, the need in some ways to preplan my writing because the short story was written and submitted in November, yet I didn’t decide to rewrite the poem until the middle of December, by which time it was too late to change the title of the short. Anyway, I hope you enjoy both.

We’ve had a very busy Christmas here at Beagle HQ and are now settling down for a little R&R – which of course means more making, writing and general chaos! Pop back soon for more!
