12 Days of Craftmas: Day 3 Christmas Cards

It’s day three of our 12 Days of Craftmas!

So far we’ve written our letters to Santa and made our pom pom garland. Today I thought it would be fun to make some Christmas cards.

In your kits, you’ll find two Christmas cards featuring the gorgeous design by @Matt.ClarkHellery.

For today’s crafting you’ll need: some glue (either runny or stick is fine), something to colour your templates in with such as crayons or pencils and an optional photo. Check out my video on Instagram for a video guide – watch out, I had a special visitor today! If you can’t access the video, check out the instructions below.

Instructions

  1. Untie your cards, making sure you keep the paper string for another day.
  2. Colour in your template using your crayons or pencils.
  3. When you’re finished, carefully apply glue along the edges. If you’re using runny glue, use it sparingly so it doesn’t splodge onto your card.
  4. Take a photo and make sure you use the hashtag #12daysofcraftmas so I can see your makes!

I had one supporter come up with the very clever idea of taking a Christmas photo and inserting it behind the template, creating a totally unique, beautiful card for loved ones. What a great idea!
